About
Experience connected to purpose.
Dr Vivian Fernandes considers interacting medical conditions, investigations, medications, functional changes and other contributing factors, bringing the information together into a clear and coordinated management plan.
She graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours and completed physician training at Sydney Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Further nuclear-medicine experience included Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Dr Fernandes has served the Macarthur community for more than 25 years. At Harmony she can work closely with Specialist Pain Medicine Physicians, Clinical Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
“I am passionate about working together so that people in our community, especially older people and young workers, can remain healthy, function well and live with purpose, with pain reduced or effectively managed wherever possible.”
